WearEx SUPER W wire (3/32'') is flux cored hardfacing wire containing 50 to 60% tungsten carbides. The overlay contains sintered tungsten carbides uniformly distributed in a NiCrBSi matrix cross the coating layer.  A wide range of carbide sizes is up to about 50 μm.  The majority of the carbides are sintered 

carbide.  The deposit of WearEx SUPER W wire optimizes the combination of toughness and wear resistance due to the heterogeneous weld metal composed of tungsten carbides distributed in a hard and very tough matrix.  The bead appearance is smooth and clean which provides excellent flow and wetting characteristics.  WearEx SUPER W wire can be applied with or without external gas shielding
